Are you passionate about the environment and love sharing your knowledge with others?
Raw Earth Foundation is looking for Volunteer Field Guides to lead educational nature walks
and community outreach events that inspire people to connect with and protect our natural
world.

About the Role:

As a Volunteer Field Guide, you’ll be engaging community members of all ages in outdoor
activities, teaching them about local ecosystems, native plants, and sustainable practices.
This is an exciting role for anyone interested in conservation, education, and inspiring others
to care for the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead nature walks, plant identification tours, and community outreach events.
  • Educate participants on topics like local flora and fauna, foraging basics, and
    sustainability practices.
  • Promote Raw Earth Foundation’s mission and encourage environmental stewardship.
  • Support event logistics and ensure a safe, engaging experience for all attendees.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a passion for environmental education and conservation.
  • Enjoys working with people and has strong communication skills.
  • Some knowledge of local ecosystems, native plants, or sustainability is a plus (training
    will be provided).

Commitment:

Flexible schedule with a minimum of two events per month. Events are generally on
weekends and last a few hours.
