About the Role:

As a Grant Writer/Fundraiser, you will play a vital role in identifying potential funding sources, crafting compelling grant proposals, and developing fundraising strategies that align with our mission. Your contributions will help us expand our programs and further our goal of creating greener, healthier communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities and other funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and government programs.
• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals to secure funding for our programs, including tree-planting initiatives, community gardens, and educational outreach.
• Develop and execute fundraising campaigns to reach new donors and engage current supporters.
• Track and manage grant deadlines and maintain records of submissions, follow-ups, and awards.
• Collaborate with our team to understand funding needs and align proposals with organizational goals.

Ideal Candidate:

Excellent writing and research skills, with experience in grant writing, fundraising, or related fields.

Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Familiarity with environmental issues and a passion for sustainable practices.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Commitment:

5-10 hours per month, with flexibility to accommodate deadlines. Most tasks can be done remotely, though occasional virtual team meetings may be required.
